Any Dream Will Do / Doctor Who

John will be judging the UK entries for this year's Eurovision Song Contest on Making Your Mind Up on BBC1 this Saturday 17 March. Main show is 7.30pm with the results show at 9.30pm.

Attitude Magazine

John appears in this month's Attitude Magazine as one of several celebrities talking about their experiences growing up knowing they were gay. It's a half page of interview and a half page of photos - a small one of John as he is now, and one when he was a teen.

A Taste of My Life

A real treat for you! John will be cooking and giving you a glimpse into his life, when he's profiled on BBC2's A Taste of My Life
airing 13 March at 6.30pm.

John's manager, Gavin Barker, says "Ostensibly a cooking show, but it is the most delightful programme you'll ever see.  John's fans are in for a real treat with this one.  It's a profile of John and his life via food and cooking. You will cry - all the fans will cry!  It is one of the sweetest things you've ever seen - and so very different and personal than any other show."

John will be back with Graham Norton and Andrew Lloyd Webber as they search for a new Joseph to star in a West End revivial of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
The search, Any Dream Will Do will air on BBC1 this Spring.

Hucking Harkness

Hucking Horses, John Best’s innovative racing syndicate has named one of their colts after Captain Jack. John will meet his namesake in late March.

John will be presenting the Saturday evening draw shows on BBC 1 on 24 February and 3 March at the slightly later time of 21:25.

John said: "Having appeared on stages around the world, performed in a variety of leading musicals and hosting TV shows, I am very excited about the prospect of appearing live in people's homes from Lottery HQ as the latest draw presenter. Fingers crossed that I can bring luck to players and help create some new millionaires in the UK."

John will be a celebrity guest on AL MURRAY'S HAPPY HOUR on Saturday 3 March, ITV1 at 9.30pm. The show will be repeated on ITV2 on Wednesday 7 March at 9.30pm, and on ITV1 on Friday 9 March. The show will be taped on 27 February in London and tickets may be available from www.tvrecordings.com (entry not guaranteed).

Switch Back Jack

Even before he took his final Jack and the Beanstalk panto bow on 27 January, John had traded beans for a sonic screwdriver and started work on Doctor Who a few days earlier. He's currently filming his third series Doctor Who appearances. More news when we have it.
