Accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra (conductor Michael Reed) and the Crouch End Festival Chorus, and with guests Helen Dallimore (Glinda in WICKED)
and Matt Rawle (Che in EVITA), John delighted his audience with a new selection of songs from shows and his favourite Christmas songs.
John sang with his trademark passion and verve, note and diction perfect as always; and after two standing ovations, he definitely left the audience wanting more.
The concert was broadcast on Friday, December 22nd, 2006 as part of BBC RADIO 2's ' Friday Night is Music Night' series.
