On October 19th, 2002, John brought his cabaret act to NYC's Lincoln Center and their American Songbook series.
Because it is the AMERICAN songbook series, John had to swap out anything not written by an American. So out when the Andrew Lloyd Webber and in came Gershwin. Also added were songs like Where or When (Rogers & Hart) and Reflection from Disney's animated feature Mulan, (David Zippel).
Another addition was the song, Is There Anybody Out There? (Alan Roy Scott), a very touching song and so beautifully done.
